Lightwire Theater, best known as a semifinalist on America’s Got Talent and winner of TruTV’s Fake Off, consistently delivers a unique experience through the use of innovative techniques designed to engage audiences in a different way. 

On Oct. 25, Embassy Theatre will host Lightwire Theater’s latest production, The Tortoise and the Hare: The Next Gen. The story begins with Aesop’s classic fable, but continues it 10 years later, with both characters now having children and exploring modern-day distractions like smartphones and video games. 

The Next Gen features Tortoise Junior and Lil’ Hare in a whole new kind of race, where their adventures lead them into unexpected territory and new hurdles they have to overcome to make it to the finish line.

The eye-popping visuals add a new dimension to the typical theater show, helping bring this classic  tale into a new light.
