Peter and the Starcatcher provides a backstory for the characters of Peter Pan, Mrs. Darling, Tinker Bell and Hook, and serves as a prequel to the classic story of Peter Pan, the boy who can fly and never grows up.

The Tony-winning play, based on a 2004 novel, features a dozen actors portraying more than 100 characters, from pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, with an underlying theme of exploring the depths of greed and despair, as well as the bonds of friendship.

The Purdue Fort Wayne Visual and Performing Arts present six performances of this energetic show at the Williams Theatre on the campus of Purdue Fort Wayne, Nov. 11-13 and Nov. 17-19.
