Gosh! If there ever was a time where Embassy Theatre concession stand could serve tater tots and 1% milk, it is now. That’s because the theater announced that Napoleon Dynamite Live! is coming to town on Thursday, May 18. 

The evening will begin with a full screening of the 2004 comedy Napoleon Dynamite, followed by a discussion with cast members Jon Heder (Napoleon), Efren Ramirez (Pedro), and Jon Gries (Uncle Rico). 

The film about a socially awkward high school student premiered at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival, sold to Fox Searchlight Studios, and became a cult classic full of quotable lines and social media memes and GIFs. 

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com, embassytheatre.org, and the STAR Bank box office at the Embassy.  

Hendrix Re-Experience gets rescheduled

Baker Street Centre announced the Kiss the Sky: The Jimi Hendrix Re-Experience show has been rescheduled. 

Originally scheduled for Nov. 12, the new show date is Saturday, March 25. If you have tickets for the original date, they will carry over to the new.  

Slam City hosting Bread & Circus art sale

On Sunday, Dec. 11, from 5-10 p.m., Slam City Skatepark will host the Bread & Circus second annual Holiday Art Sale. 

The Bread & Circus Art Gallery will be the ringleader that evening full of art vendors, silent ornament auction, live DJ, public vote for best decorated booth, beverages, and more. 

This event will be sure to get you into the holiday spirit while supporting local artists. If you would like to get a booth for the event, it is only a $35 fee that is due by Nov. 30. For more info, contact bcgallery2020@gmail.com. 

Trailer Park Boys’ Randy coming to Piere’s

Patrick Roach, who played the cheese burger-loving Randy from the Canadian movies and TV series Trailer Park Boys, will bring his unique comedy performance to Piere’s on Friday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. 

Randy’s Christmas Tour will be a bit of standup, a bit of silly contests, and some classic Randy punch lines. 

General admission tickets are on sale now and there is also a VIP package that includes eating a cheeseburger with Randy Bobandy, merchandise, early entry, photo op, and bragging rights. Tickets can be purchased via TicketWeb. 

Get ready for the best adult-themed comedic Christmas show of the year.  

Comedy, music at Neat Neat Neat Records

Neat Neat Neat Records will be busier than a snake in a birdcage on Saturday, Nov. 12, when they welcome two bands and three comedians to their stage. 

The fun begins at 7 p.m. and will include performances by Los Galaxy, The Last Plane Home, Drew Zimmerman, Jesse McIntire, and Lynett Thomas

All this for only $10 at the door. This is an all-ages event, so round up the troops and head out.
