The next lecturer in Omnibus Speaker Series at Purdue University Fort Wayne political commentator Michael Steele on Monday, Oct. 24 in the Auer Performance Hall.
The MSNBC analyst and former Republican National Committee chair will present “The Political Scene According to Steele,” offering his opinions and observations on today’s political environment and the upcoming midterm elections.
An often witty and engaging observer, Steele’s experiences as Maryland’s first Black lieutenant governor, as a candidate for the US Senate, and as a Republican Party leader make him an source of information in the world of politics.
A graduate of Georgetown Law Center, Steele has been a guest on several television shows including Meet the Press, Face the Nation, Real Time with Bill Maher and The Daily Show.
