Chicago bluesman Toronzo Cannon is set to perform at The League’s 13th annual Blues Bash on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 6-10:30 p.m. at Baker Street Centre, 323 W. Baker St.
A blistering guitarist, soulful vocalist, and sharp dresser, Cannon burst onto the international stage as one of the Windy City’s, and the world’s, most acclaimed next-generation bluesmen.
Cannon will be joined that evening by local artists Rainee Perdue and G-Money Band.

Former Foreigner singer headed to Wabash
On Saturday, Feb. 17, Honeywell Center will welcome the original voice of Foreigner, Lou Gramm.
Gramm’s unique vocals and hit songs placed Foreigner among Billboard’s Top Artists of all time, powering hits like “Double Vision,” “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Cold As Ice,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.”

Stirling bringing holiday act back to Embassy
Embassy Theatre and Honeywell Arts & Entertainment will bring electronic violinist, dancer, and artist Lindsey Stirling back to the Embassy on Monday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m.
Stirling recently announced her North American Snow Waltz 2023 tour in support of her enchanting Christmas album, Snow Waltz. Lucky for us, it’s coming to The Fort just in time for the holidays.
For those who are yet to see her perform, you will be amazed as she leaps across the stage and flips upside down in the air — all while playing her violin.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com and at the STAR Bank box office at the Embassy.
One dollar per ticket goes towards Stirling’s The Upside Fund charity, which has helped relieve more than $5 million in medical debt for people struggling to pay.
Love Jams series set for Wrigley Field Bar
Dave Pagan has announced that he will host Love Jams, an acoustic showcase, every other Thursday at Wrigley Field Bar & Grill, 6527 E. State Blvd.
Love Jams includes two entertainers a night from 8 p.m.-midnight. The first installment will take place on Thursday, Aug. 24 with BasketCase and Pagan taking the stage.
The next show will be Sept. 7 with acts yet to be announced.
Rikki Rockett hosting free drum clinic
Poison drummer Rikki Rockett will make his way to Sweetwater Sound on Aug. 30 for a free clinic from 7-9 p.m.
The Yamaha drummer will share tips, tricks, and techniques ironed out over years of touring with Poison, Devil City Angels, and Rockett, rocking out countless gigs, and selling more than 40 million albums worldwide. Get signed up at sweetwater.com/events.
