Rune opening March 29 on Broadway

There’s new life for a popular venue south of downtown. Rune Restaurant announced last week it would open soon on Broadway in a space formerly occupied by Trubble Brewing.

Executive Chef Sean Richardson will lead an experienced staff that knows Fort Wayne and the hospitality industry.

His résumé includes stops at The Oyster Bar, Joseph Decuis, and The Golden.

The restaurant at 2725 Broadway will open March 29 and promises to keep things innovative with creative cocktails and menus that can be adjusted seasonally or just to keep things fresh, all while striving to be sustainable using wild foods with the input of Wild Edible Indiana.

Richardson said in a press release that Rune will feature “loud with big flavors, a bit chaotic, technical when it needs to be, but never fussy, and always delicious.”
