The 2004 teen comedy Mean Girls continues to live on as a very successful touring Broadway musical that will be presented Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the historic Embassy Theatre. 

Written by a creative team that included former Saturday Night Live cast member Tina Fey, who penned and appeared in the 2004 comedy of the same name, and featuring a score by Fey’s husband, composer Jeff Richmond, the family-friendly Mean Girls follows Cady Heron as she navigates her way through the challenges of her new school, eventually falling prey to Regina George and her clique, the Mean Girls. 

The original Broadway show was nominated for 12 Tony Awards in 2018, including Best Musical.
