With more than five decades of music and touring behind them, Grand Funk Railroad are an American institution.
Enjoying their peak popularity in the 1970s on the strength of hits “Walk Like a Man,” “Bad Time,” “The Loco-Motion,” and, of course, the gargantuan hit “We’re an American Band,” Grand Funk Railroad released five platinum and four gold albums from 1969-1974.
Now with a touring lineup that boasts former Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick and supporting original members Don Brewer and Mel Schacher, Grand Funk Railroad have had a consistent lineup for more than two decades while traveling the world to deliver their songs in a live setting.
They will stop by the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert on Nov. 4.
