The Clyde Theatre has announced the return of Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, producer, and best-selling author Richard Marx on Sunday, Feb. 18.

If you recall, the ’80s/’90s swooner performed a sold-out show at The Clyde in 2020 right before the concert touring world shut down. If you were there, you know how special the evening was and know how important it is not to miss. After all, Marx is a hit-making machine whose influence remains steadfast in pop culture today having penned timeless hits like “Endless Summer Nights,” “Hold On to the Nights,” “Should’ve Known Better,” “Don’t Mean Nothing,” and “Right Here Waiting.”

Last year, he released his 13th studio album, Songwriter, which featured contributions by Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, Burt Bacharach, and Chris Daughtry.

Reserved seating goes on sale on Friday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. at clydetheatre.com, by calling (800) 514-3849, and at The Clyde box office, all Wooden Nickel locations, and Sweetwater Sound.

Clyde books Puddles Pity Party, Dickerson

A couple other announcements from The Clyde camp include the Puddles Pity Party on Sunday, Jan. 21, and country singer Russell Dickerson on Friday, March 1.

Puddles Pity Party, the alter ego of Big Mike Geier, is a season 12 finalist on America’s Got Talent who performs mashups of classic rock and contemporary pop hits and has garnered himself an international cult following.

Oh yeah: he’s also a 7-foot-tall clown with a golden voice and has amassed nearly 900,000 YouTube subscribers and performed sold-out shows across the globe.

Tennessee native Dickerson found success with the 2015 single “Yours,” which was featured on his 2017 debut album of the same name. His catalog consists of “soul-mate symphonies wrapped in epic country devotion.”

Ticket for both shows go on sale Nov. 3 at 10 a.m.
