As part of Foellinger Foundation’s 65th anniversary, you’re invited to visit Arts United Center on Thursday, March 16, for the premiere of An Influence for Good

It’s a documentary about the life of Helene Foellinger and the three generations of Foellingers who preceded her in Allen County.

The 75-minute film details the legacy of one of Fort Wayne’s most important families, beginning with the immigration of Jacob Foellinger in 1836 and continuing with Helene Foellinger who, at just 25 years old, took the helm of The News-Sentinel after the tragic passing of her father, leading the newspaper to even greater levels of success.

The film also shows how Helene Foellinger and her mother, Esther, formed the Foellinger Foundation, formalizing their commitment to uplifting the lives of the residents of Allen County.

Today, that foundation continues the family’s visionary commitment to championing opportunity.

Opening remarks begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the film.
