On Thursday, May 25, Willie Nelson & Family are set to perform at the Foellinger Theatre. This will be a unique opportunity to see a country music legend in our own backyard.

The Clyde welcomes Collective Soul

They got their start during the rise of grunge and alternative rock, and rose to fame in 1993 with their rock anthem “Shine.” Three decades later, Collective Soul are still releasing good albums and touring regularly. Their latest tour brings them to The Clyde on Sunday, July 9. 

Joining Collective Soul will be Jet Black Roses, often described as rock n’ roll with a country soul.

Songwriters invited to Tall Rabbit Cafe

Tall Rabbit Cafe + Community, 2001 Calhoun St., is looking for songwriters to make their way to the establishment on Tuesday, March 21, for Songwriter’s Night. 

Hosted by the talented Jon Durnell, he will share the stage with other songwriters and friends. If you’re not a songwriter, no problem. Come grab yourself a Tall Rabbit espresso and sit back and unwind.

As of now, there are no future Songwriter’s Night  events scheduled, but stay tuned to their Facebook page for updates. 

Kreischer brings comedy tour to Parkview

We’ve seen everything from baseball to concerts to beer tastings and yoga at Parkview Field. Now, the downtown baseball venue will add a unique event to its summer calendar: a comedy festival. 

On Friday, June 23, Bert Kreischer’s Fully Loaded Comedy festival, featuring some of the top names in the comedy world to the venue. Along with Kreischer, the lineup includes Tiffany Haddish, Fortune Feimster, Big Jay Oakerson, Jay Pharoah, and Chad Daniels

Comedian Katt Williams to visit the Embassy

Speaking of comedy, Embassy Theatre will host comedy titan and Emmy winner Katt Williams on Saturday, May 13. 

His 2023 and Me Tour will bring his unparalleled talents to the stage with new material that blends sidesplitting comedy with thought-provoking social commentary.

Phan Gear, Debutants plan intimate show

Phan Gear Prints and Debutants are partnering up for a special event at the historic Fairfield Manor, 2301 Fairfield Ave., on Friday, April 14. 

The two have been partners in scheming and dreaming since 2020 and have created some stellar designs for the band. The event will be an intimate evening of art, music, good people, and good times.

Three Fires Pizza now hosting live music

Three Fires Pizza, 5215 Illinois Road, recently announced that they will have live music every Saturday from 8-10 p.m. 

The upcoming schedule includes A Picker and a Grinner (Jessie Doyle and Michael Earl Newsome) on March 18, Troy Losure on March 25, and Dillin Helsley & Cayden Biggs on April 1.
