The Sweetwater Performance Pavilion has announced a couple of shows for their upcoming summer concert series.

First up, on Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m., will be Grammy award-nominated Needtobreathe for an intimate acoustic evening in support of their latest critically acclaimed studio album, Into the Mystery

Boasting gold and platinum No. 1 songs, sold-out crowds, and past tours tours with Train, Taylor Swift, and Tim McGraw, the “Into the Mystery Acoustic Tour” promises a memorable, genre-defying evening of inspirational and contagious joy.

The Nashville, Tennessee-based breakout Patrick Droney will be the opening act that evening so make sure to be in your seat at showtime.

The other announcement is for the return of the Yacht Rock Revue, who will roll into town Thursday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m.

The Atlanta-based YRR tours the country playing a variety of smooth hits from the ’70s and ’80s, including hits from the likes of Christopher Cross, Hall & Oates, Lionel Ritchie, and Kenny Loggins

The seven-piece act released their first full-length album of originals in 2020 titled Hot Dads in Tight Jeans. Tickets for both shows can be purchased in person at Sweetwater or at sweetwaterpavilion.com.

Whatzup will keep you posted on future bookings at the pavilion, so stay tuned.
