Fort Wayne Civic Theatre is seeking a marketing director to implement and manage season and membership campaigns, fundraisers, media sponsorships, PSAs, advertising, audience development, front of house marketing, social media, web design content, coordination of pricing with box office, and departments communication with community and volunteers.
The local theater company is looking for a candidate with experience in media communication, graphic layout and design, and project and budget management. Previous theater and arts marketing is preferred.
Hours are 40+ per week, with some evening and weekend hours required.

Celebration of Sam Cooke
Indiana Music Theatre Foundation will present a concert celebrating the music of Sam Cooke as part of their inaugural Black History Month concert series.
Directed by Alex Leavell with music direction by Peter Klopfenstein, Celebration of Sam Cooke will feature Albert Brownlee, Prentis Moore, Melissa Rentfrow, Todd Roth, Fatima Washington, and Jake Wilhelm.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. shows Feb. 25 and 26 at RKF Studios, 2446 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, are $12.
Auditions for Slaughterhouse-Five
On Saturday, Feb. 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. at RKF Studios, the Indiana Music Theatre Foundation will hold auditions for the Fort Wayne premiere of Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five, about a man who becomes “unstuck in time” after being abducted by aliens.
Based on Vonnegut’s experience as an American prisoner of war, the satirical anti-war story features a large and diverse cast of more than 11 male-presenting roles, four female-presenting roles, and numerous ensemble roles for any gender.
The play will run for five performances April 15-24.
Arts commission conducts workshops
The Indiana Arts Commission will hold two workshops to give tips about what panelists look for in a successful grant application.
The webinar for Arts Project Support grants is Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. The webinar for Arts Organization Supports grants is Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m.

Super Shot giving free COVID, flu shots
On Saturday, Feb. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, Super Shot, 5717 S. Anthony Blvd,, will be providing free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to anyone age 5 years old and older and flu vaccines to anyone age 6 months old and older.
Boat Show returns to the Coliseum
The 41st annual Fort Wayne Boat Show and Sale will be held at Memorial Coliseum on Feb. 10-13.
The show will feature more than 52 exhibitors, including marine dealers from all over Indiana and Michigan. Products include boats, outboard motors, electric boats, personal watercraft, piers, docks, lifts, covers, scooters, golf carts, and outdoor accessories.
Snacks such as dry roasted nuts and popcorn will be available for purchase.
The Department of Natural Resources will be on hand for a free water safety class Saturday, Feb 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register on site or online.
