Beginning his stand-up career in 1989, he quickly rose to stardom by landing appearances on multiple late-night talk shows.

After finding his feet in the comedy industry, he began to move into television appearances such as Everybody Loves Raymond. This blossomed into his own sitcom that ran for nine seasons, The King of Queens, alongside Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller.

On top of doing stand-up and television, James went into movies, and you know it is going to be a laugh riot when James shows up in the trailer.

You might also assume you will see James whenever Adam Sandler is in a movie. They often work together and have starred in multiple comedies, such as Grown-Ups, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Hotel Transylvania, Hubie Halloween, and Pixels.

He is also reliable at the box office without Sandler, scoring hits with Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Zookeeper, and Here Comes the Boom

Although I have listed a ton of talents this man has, he also is a writer and a producer, doing so on Paul Blart: Mall Cop and its sequel, Here Comes the Boom, and Zookeeper. It is clear to see his passion for making others laugh and his ability to bring it to life.

With movies such as Paul Blart: Mall Cop, that grossed $219 million in sales, his comedy has reached millions of people all over the world.

Life on the stage

James has released two comedy specials: Kevin James: Never Don’t Give Up in 2001 and Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff in 2018.

James has been doing stand-up comedy since the beginning and has only progressed throughout his years. He has also been nominated for numerous awards throughout his career within comedy and acting.
