On Saturday, June 1, Sweetwater Performance Pavilion welcomes the progressive-bluegrass jam band Leftover Salmon with special guests The Infamous Stringdusters.
Leftover Salmon have been going strong more than 30 years and are a crucial link in keeping alive the traditional music of the past while pushing that sound forward with their own weirdly unique style.
In 2019, they were profiled in the book Leftover Salmon: Thirty Years of Festival! which chronicled the band’s influential history and their role in the development of the jam band and jam-grass scenes. They even continue to create new music, including 2023’s Grass Roots.
With Nashville, Tennessee-based The Infamous Stringdusters, you’re sure to enjoy this evening for a no-holds barred, bluegrass-infused, Cajun-tinged, high-octane blast of ridiculous fun. Plus, it’s a Saturday night.
Tickets are available at the Sweetwater campus and at sweetwaterpavilion.com and ticketmaster.com.
