For some bonding with something a little different, head to the Wells County 4-H Community Center, 1240 4-H Park Road, in Bluffton on Feb. 18.

The day begins Mother/Son Nerf Wars: Alien Invasion from 2-3:30 p.m.

This fun-filled afternoon will pit mothers against sons in a variety of Nerf games with the winners holding bragging rights on the way home. Bring your own Nerf gun and enjoy refreshments and a photo area. 

Appropriate space-themed attire is encouraged along with safety glasses and regular-sized Nerf bullets with your name on them of you have them.  

Later, a Daddy/Daughter dance will be held from 6-8 p.m. with space-themed or the color gold encouraged. 

Tickets for parents are $10 to each with children’s tickets being $5.
