In the mood for some free food and live entertainment at a family-friendly event? If the answer is yes — and of course it is — then the 2023 Soul Day Festival in Fort Wayne’s Weisser Park is where you’ll want to be on Saturday, July 29, from 2-7 p.m. 

The Funk Thang, a band who have opened shows for Morris Day & The Time, The SOS Band, and Zapp, will headline the music portion of the day.

Local female gospel group Anointed Sound, local R&B band We Are CheckMark, and Atlanta-based Christian rapper Sprinna are scheduled as well. 

There will be bounce houses and other activities for the kids. 

Make sure to bring a chair and get there early as the food is available on a first-come, first-served basis but make plans to stay the whole day.
