Smokin’ good time at Copper Canyon

Copper Canyon Tobacconist, 3261 St. Joe Center Road, will host their Summer Smoke Fest on Saturday, Aug. 26, from noon-10 p.m.

The event will feature a cornhole tournament, food trucks, adult beverages, and live music by Whoa, Man! and Led Zepplica: The Led Zeppelin Experience. This Zeppelin tribute sounds like the real deal having performed as an entity since 1989 nationally and internationally. They have covered the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Chile, Russia, and India, making them one of the biggest production Led Zeppelin tribute bands to date. And for one special evening, we have them right here in Fort Wayne.

Music will begin at 6:30 p.m. Whether you’re a music lover, a foodie, a cigar aficionado, or just looking for some fun, Smoke Fest is an experience for everyone.

Brandt’s hosting alternative to Sturgis

If you don’t have the funds to attend this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, then I may have an alternative.

Too Broke for Sturgis will be Saturday, Aug. 12, from noon-3 p.m. at Brandt’s Harley-Davidson in Wabash. The day will feature live music by Mike Milligan & Steam Shovel and tasty food from the Imagine Burgers food truck.

It might not be a week of partying, but it gives you some highway time and live music with fellow bikers.
