Wunderkammer is presenting Queer Vision, an LGBTQ+ art exhibition highlighting works made by LGBTQ+ artists in the area, as well as local LGBTQ+ vendors.
The exhibit runs through July 24 with open gallery hours every Thursday and Friday from 1-6 p.m.
Fill the Field raises mental health awareness
3 Rivers Yoga Foundation will host their fourth annual Fill the Field, an event to raise awareness of mental health, at Parkview Field with gates opening at 5 p.m.
The event will include a yoga class, local vendors, and a presentation by Fort Wayne police Captain Sofia Rosales-Scatena at 6:45 p.m.
All proceeds go directly to support the foundation’s mission of fostering health and well-being by putting yoga principles into practice through education, opportunity, and accessibility to such community organizations as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne, 122nd Air Force Base, Choices Treatment Center, and Shepherd’s House.
Tickets are $30 ($15 for first responders, health care workers, military members, and teachers) and are available at runsignup.com/TicketEvent/FillTheField.
Summer Reading Challenge at library
The League of Women Voters of Fort Wayne will hold a Summer Reading Challenge at the Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza, on Wednesday, July 20, from 6:30-8 p.m.
The organization has chosen the book Democracy in One Book or Less by David Litt. Participants should read the book ahead of time for discussion.
