Watch Christmas Story with its star

A Christmas Story is a beloved holiday classic enjoyed by fans every year.

Running on a 24-hour loop on TNT and TBS on Christmas Eve into Christmas Day, the movie captures the nostalgia and charm of being a child during the holiday season and the fascination of a Red Rider BB Gun, of course.

But of all the times you’ve seen the movie, can you say you’ve ever seen it on a big screen? I’m not talking about Uncle Randy’s 75-inch Toshiba. I’m talking a movie screen.

Well, on Thursday, Dec. 19, you will have the opportunity to do just that when Embassy Theatre welcomes An Evening with Peter Billingsley & A Christmas Story

The evening will include a screening of the 1983 film and a moderated question-and-answer where Billingsley (Ralphie) will share stories from the movie set, behind-the-scenes photos, and memories from the Christmas classic.

How cool is that? Not only are you taking in a film, but you get to ask the legend himself a question.

Each screening will feature a Toys for Tots fundraiser and a leg lamp giveaway to a lucky winner. Plus, a limited number of pre-show meet and greet tickets are available.

Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com, fwembassytheatre.org, and at the Embassy box office.

For those not keeping up with Billingsley, his career spans four decades where he has achieved success in front of and behind the camera, producing such films as the first Iron Man, The Break-Up, Four Christmases, and directing Couples Retreat

He also rehashed his Ralphie character for last year’s A Christmas Story Christmas.
