If you haven’t heard of ventriloquist Terry Fator, then you haven’t been paying attention to who has been making waves in the world of comedy over the past decade.

It took him 30 years to become an “overnight sensation,” but since being named the winner of America’s Got Talent in 2007, Fator has been a “must see” live act, performing for more than ten years at The Mirage in Las Vegas and scattered dates throughout the rest of the world when his schedule allows.

Fator stops by the Honeywell Center in Wabash on August 23.

Known for his spot-on singing impressions, mostly done through the brilliance use of his puppets, Fator has the ability to impersonate more than 100 voices. Some crowd favorites include Justin Timberlake, Elton John, and Garth Brooks, who loves to sing “Friends in Low Places.” Longtime partner and puppet Winston the Impersonating Turtle will be at the show as will country singer Walter T. Airdale, Elvis impressionist Maynard Thompkins, and annoying neighbor Duggie.

But what keeps Fator’s act fresh is his ability to create new puppets to complement new material he has developed.

One of his newest and most popular puppets is none other than Donald J. Trump. Don’t worry though, Fator doesn’t get political with Trump, he just uses the president’s big personality to make everyone laugh, regardless of their political leanings.
