Art continues to expand into all areas of the Summit City and we have just the event to prove it. The second annual pARTY Animal Art Benefit is a joint venture dreamt up by the Allen County SPCA and Fort Wayne Heart Of The City that provides an opportunity to view and buy great art from local artists and also contribute to the financial health of the ACSPCA. The gathering takes place September 22 at 125 W. Main Street in Fort Wayne, a privately owned and newly renovated building that is not usually open to the public. It includes cats and dogs available for adoption at a later date, an art gallery displayed for view with art available for purchase, live painters creating animal themed paintings, live performances from local musicians, and raffles throughout the night. Pizza and beverages provided by 816 Pint & Slice will be available to purchase. Proceeds from the event support the ACSPCA’s mission to find “fur-ever” homes for animals.
