A new addition to the Bishop Luers High School event calendar is Mini Knight, a complementary event to the annual black tie formal gathering of LuersKnight. For this inaugural event, the high school has teamed up with The Clyde for a casual night of entertainment, food, camaraderie, and drinks.
Mini Knight takes place April 26 in the new Club Room at The Clyde and targets younger alumni as well as the surrounding community, educating them about what the high school has to offer, celebrating successes and providing a night to remember.
Entertainment for the event will be provided by Fort Wayne music scene veterans Scratch N Sniff Funkified with Full Kit Kurt. Mainly playing classic rock favorites, Scratch N Sniff have enough talent and versatility to cover everything from Melissa Etheridge to ZZ Top and are a highly sought after group in the Fort Wayne music scene.
The designation that they are “funkified” for this event means they’ve added local legend G Money to the mix, allowing them to play a wide selection blues and funk tunes as well.
Tickets are just $25 with snacks and beer included in the ticket price. A raffle drawing that will give away an all-inclusive trip for two to Cabo San Lucas takes place just after midnight.
Tickets for the raffle can be purchased in the Bishop Luers Advancement Office and at The Clyde. Proceeds from the Mini Knight and the raffle will be used to provide tuition assistance for Bishop Luers students.
