Getting laughs during a presentation in his high school speech class changed Larry Reeb’s life forever. 

He was 15 then and living in an Illinois farm town. Just four years later, he was living in Chicago and doing stand-up full time, never looking back. 

A road comic in the truest sense, Reeb performs 47 or so weeks a year in non-pandemic times, criss-crossing the country multiple times a year. Also known as Uncle Lar, Reeb is a regular on the nationally syndicated The Bob & Tom Show, where he has been known to offer tips on everything from marriage, lotteries, children, and everyday life. Politically incorrect and sardonic, Reeb speaks sarcasm fluently, endearing him to fans across the country. 

When Reeb stops by the Fort Wayne Comedy Club at 469 Sports & Spirits on June 4, he will be armed with a clip full of one-liners in the vein of Rodney Dangerfield, and he will undoubtedly have no problem firing them off one by one. 

In addition to Dangerfield, Reeb draws inspiration from a variety of “older” comedians, naming George Carlin as one of his biggest influences. 

In a nutshell, where others cringe, Uncle Lar thrives, and his twisted observations will have you looking at the world in a whole new way.
