Quick Hit: ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ in Auburn

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph, will be presented by the Excelsior Youth Theater at 7:30 p.m. on July 21-23. 

Taking place at the DeKalb Outdoor Theater in Auburn, this Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice musical weaves music and comedy into the classic story taken from the book of Genesis, creating one the most performed musicals of all time. 

To add to the experience, Excelsior Youth Theater will build an Egyptian market in front of the stage to immerse the audience in the story and bring it to life. 

The Auburn-based Excelsior Arts Academy offers various activities to help young people, ages 8-22, develop, grow and learn through the performing arts.
