After more than three decades as an international entertainer, John Tesh has earned six Emmys, two Grammy nominations, three gold records, and seven TV specials, and has sold more than eight million records. On top of that, Tesh now has a popular six-day-a-week radio program called Intelligence for Your Life, which he co-hosts with his wife Connie Sellecca and her son, Gib Gerard.
Tesh’s recording and live concert career continues to thrive as well, as he prepares to visit the Honeywell Center in Wabash on May 17 for an intimate trio performance that will entertain both loyal and new fans alike.
John Tesh Grand Piano Live is a show Tesh describes as “the show I would want to see from my favorite artists.” Tesh compares the show to VH1’s Storytellers where, in each episode, artists perform in front of a small and intimate live audience and tell stories about their music, writing experiences, and memories.
Tesh will likely talk about how he beat inoperable cancer two years ago and the effect it has had on his outlook on life, how he ended up penning tunes for the Olympics and the NBA, and maybe even go into a story about hosting Entertainment Tonight all those years. What exactly Tesh will cover during his show is known only to him, but it’s guaranteed to be a night filled with songs you know by heart.
