The fourth annual Hip to Snip Fur-ball Bash takes place Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne.
The event raises money for H.O.P.E. For Animals, a non-profit organization whose mission is to eliminate preventable euthanasia of animals by offering high-quality spay/neuter services and wellness services at a low cost.
Guests at the Fur-ball can join in all the fun including 50/50 raffles, the ever-popular envelope game, a wine-pull, silent auction, playing casino games for fun, creating memories with a visit to the photo booth, and even cuddling with adoptable dogs and puppies.
Live music with Swick & Jones will keep those wanting to dance happy, and an auction will take place during the event with bidding taking place online for the first time, offering more time for games and fun.
All guests receive dinner and dessert, and there is a cash bar as well.
In addition, a new VIP option is available offering a free drink, hors d’oeuvres, and early admission to the event. As a bonus, VIPs will receive a souvenir cocktail glass to take home, automatically be entered in a drawing to win a pair of Disney World Orlando Park Hopper tickets, and have an option to “buy-it-now” on select silent auction items.
