Hinder have been playing and touring for more than fifteen years. Their major label debut album, Extreme Behavior, introduced them to rock audiences in a big way, fusing infectious hooks with solid songwriting in a way that rock fans devoured immediately and completely, to the tune of 3.5 million copies sold.
Megahits “Get Stoned,” “Bliss” and “Lips of an Angel” solidified Hinder as the biggest new breakout rock act of the mid-2000s and catapulted them into packed arenas worldwide opening for the likes of Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Papa Roach, and many others.
A frequent visitor to The Fort during their heyday, Hinder head back to the Summit City to spread holiday joy with a visit to Flashback Live on Dec. 28.
Since that initial early success, Hinder have endured some hardships in the form of steadily declining sales and the loss of their original lead singer when he left the band in 2013.
While that could have signaled the end of Hinder, their love of what they do and their strong work ethic drove them to forge ahead with a new vocalist.
They no longer play the big stages they used to play, but you won’t be able to tell the difference by watching their live performance as the guys in the band continue to put forth maximum effort in order to give fans their money’s worth.
It’s that work ethic that has earned Hinder a reputation as a “can’t miss” show every time they come to town.
