Confidence inspires confidence. Right? Isn’t that on a Successories poster somewhere? Brit Floyd, the tribute act from northern England, refer to themselves as “The World’s Greatest Pink Floyd Show,” and who are we to dispute that claim?

Brit Floyd – Damian Darlington (lead vocals), Rob Stringer (keys), Ian Cattell (bass), Edo Scordo (guitar), Arran Ahmun (drums) and Thomas Ashbrook (keys) – will take the Embassy Theatre stage Sunday, July 16, treating audiences to the greatest hits of one of the world’s greatest bands, paying particular attention to Animals in this its 40th anniversary year.

Brit Floyd make ample use of state-of-the-art visual effects, employing lasers, circle screens, theatrics and inflatables in all of their performances, and the L.A. Times says they put on “the perfect rock show.”

Enough with the superlatives. Why not see and hear for yourself what a band from Pink Floyd’s own stomping ground looks and sounds like?
