Ska punk outfit Sublime might have disbanded when lead singer Brad Nowell died of a heroin overdose in 1996, but tribute band Badfish are doing their part to make sure the group’s good-time music is not forgotten. The quartet garnered a following in their native Rhode Island in the late 90s before branching out and playing clubs in New England and the Midwest. Nominated for a Best Tribute Band Award by the Boston Music Awards in 2008, they’ll be at the Clyde Theater Friday, June 15 at 7:30 p.m. Local favorites Unlikely Alibi and Flamingo Nosebleed will open the show.
