You’ve seen them around town. Perhaps you’ve wondered how they got there or who created them. They are the murals of the Summit City and they have been placed in various locations throughout our “big small town” to enhance the beauty of our neighborhoods. On September 21, the Art This Way Art Crawl provides an opportunity to view five of those murals up close and personal. At each of the five locations of the Art Crawl, all located within a two block area in downtown Fort Wayne, you will have the chance to see a live band, watch an artist performing live, eat free appetizers, enjoy a cash bar, and view a gallery show. The event aims to help increase awareness of Art This Way and non-traditional art while educating the community and raising awareness of the program. Money raised from this event goes directly toward funding more public art downtown. Tickets are limited.
