Do you know where your children are?

Acclaimed Broadway play American Son asks this question and many more during its run at The Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne May 21, May 22, and May 25.

The play, presented by Genesis Outreach Inc., is a gripping tale of a family caught in our national divide with their worst fears hanging in the balance. Set in a Florida police station in the middle of the night, the play follows a desperate mother and her estranged husband as they fight for any information they can get on the whereabouts of their missing teenage son.

A timely topic given today’s social climate, this play enables audience members to join in the debate. It provides a microcosm to explore the wider issues plaguing us, the possible causes, and the devastating consequences that surround them.

Written by Miami trial lawyer turned Broadway playwright Chistopher Demos-Brown, this story will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. An interpretive dance sequence and soul-stirring musical performance will be followed by a commentary after every show.
