Country star Tyler Childers announced 23 new dates for his Mule Pull ’24 Tour, including stops at Pine Knob Music Theatre, outside Detroit, on June 11; Chicago’s United Center on June 13; and Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on June 27. 

Featuring a mix of traditional country, bluegrass, and folk, Childers released his breakout studio album Purgatory in August 2017. 

In all, Childers has released six studio albums, including Rustin’ in the Rain last month as well as several EPs and singles.

SG Goodman will open the Pine Knob and United Center shows, with Addeem the Artist accompanying for the show at Ruoff.

Madison Beer plans ’24 tour

Pop singer-songwriter Madison Beer emerged in 2017 after Justin Bieber noticed her and tweeted out a link of one of her videos to his millions of followers, greatly elevating her popularity. 

With that notoriety firmly in the rearview mirror, Beer continues to make music, releasing her sophomore full-length, Silence Between Songs, last month. 

She is waiting until the calendar slips to 2024 to support it. 

When it does fire up, the five-month Spinnin’ Tour will stop at Riviera Theatre in Chicago on April 26, Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati on April 30, The Egyptian Room at Old National Centre in Indianapolis on May 1, and The Fillmore in Detroit on May 3.

TikTok star expanding reach

Maddie Zahm, a pop-rock vocalist emerged from the TikTok world with “Fat Funny Friend,” a breakout track tackling issues of fatphobia and societal pressure from her 2022 EP, You Might Not Like Her

In support of her upcoming album, Now That I’ve Been Honest, set for release Friday, Oct. 20, she will embark on the Now That I’ve Been Honest: The Tour will visit Thalia Hall in Chicago on Feb. 23, Old National Centre in Indianapolis on Feb. 26, The Shelter in Detroit on Feb. 27, and Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland on March 2.

See Italian tenor Bocelli

Legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will tour arenas across the nation in February and April.

As has become tradition, Bocelli will perform in conjunction with Valentine’s Day, but will not come to our part of the country until April when he stops at Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on April 7, followed by Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on April 13, and Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on April 14. 

Dan+Shay head out on own

Grammy-winning country duo Dan+Shay spent much of 2022 opening for Kenny Chesney and a large portion of the past summer in festivals. Now, they are planning to tackle the early part of 2024 on their own with the 19-city Heartbreak on the Map Tour. 

The tour kicks off at the end of February and winds its way to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on March 14. The duo will head to Columbus, Ohio, the following night at Nationwide Arena and to Chicago’s United Center on March 22. 

Ben Rector and Hayley Whitters will open on the shows.

Kane Brown sets 29 dates

Country music superstar Kane Brown has left nothing “In The Air” as he announced a 29-city tour that kicks off March 28 in Virginia. 

An April 4 show at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit should be on your radar if you are interested in seeing the 29-year-old singer along with an April 12 date at Allstate Arena outside Chicago. 

Tyler Hubbard and Parmalee will open the shows.
