Their spot on Broadway might have served its final pint on Saturday, Aug. 26, but Trubble Brewing’s Trubble Public House in Roanoke will be the place to be on Saturday, Sept. 23, for the second annual Stein Streak.

Beginning at 3 p.m., they will take over Main Street for an Oktoberfest-style event that will include a 2-, 4-, and 6-mile run, booths of fall produce and artisan goods, food trucks, a beer tent, and live music by Debutants, Los Galaxy, and Davis Ray

Pre-registered runners will get an exclusive Stein Streak T-shirt and a custom beer glass.

If you don’t plan on running, have no fear. You can grab yourself a pretzel and a cold beverage and just sit back and enjoy the tunes.

Back in Fort Wayne, a new tenant will be taking over the beautiful brick building at 2725 Broadway. Trubble Brewing soon will be announcing plans for their new location, which is rumored to be four times the space of the Broadway location.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Celebrate nu-metal at Piere’s

Looking toward 2024, Piere’s will welcome Texas nu-metal act The Union Underground, Chicago-based Soil, and special guests Ra and Flaw during their Back to the 2000s Tour on March 6.

The majority of these acts are certainly no strangers to Fort Wayne, having performed on numerous occasions over the years. The tour will feature each band playing exclusive material from their most popular albums from that decade.

If nothing else, the show should transport you back to a time when festivals like Ozzfest gave new bands a chance to break through when the nu-metal scene was thriving.

Each band on this bill had hit songs at that time and toured their tails off.

Tickets can be purchased via etix.com.
