Local H return to Piere’s
On Thursday, Feb. 6, Piere’s will welcome veteran alt-rockers Local H.
The band is no stranger to Fort Wayne having performed numerous times at Piere’s, The Brass Rail in 2017 (days before the opened a handful of dates for Metallica), and even at Memorial Coliseum in 2000 opening for Live and Tracy Bonham.
The Chicago-based duo spent most of 2024 out celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Whatever Happened to P.J. Soles? They also released a movie, Lifers: A Local H Movie, which was written, directed, and edited by frontman Scott Lucas.
The film is a tribute to the band’s legacy they have built over the last three decades and includes a performance at The Metro in Chicago. It’s not necessarily a documentary, but depicts a typical night out in the city as an energetic, funny, and borderline psychedelic cinematic experience. As of right now, it’s being shown only at select theaters.
In any event, if you want a straight up rock n’ roll show, Local H will not let you down. Make sure to be on the lookout for opening bands to be announced soon.
Tickets can be purchased at etix.com and at all Wooden Nickel locations.
