Piere’s welcomes The Smithereens to the stage on Saturday, June 18.
Formed in 1980, the band is known for their succession of alternative hits, like “Blood and Roses” and “A Girl Like You.” Following the death of co-found Pat DiNizio in 2017, the band has moved forward with various guest vocalists, with Marshall Crenshaw on the current tour.
Originally slated to visit the venue on March 4 before being postponed, the New Jersey rockers will take the stage at 8 p.m., after opening act Driver 8, a Dallas-based R.E.M. cover band.
General admission tickets can be purchased for $30.
