On Saturday, Feb. 1, The Clyde Theatre welcomes Minneapolis hip-hop mainstay Atmosphere during their Imagine the Fun Tour.
Atmosphere’s career has spanned more than 25 years, as the duo of rapper Slug (Sean Daley) and DJ/producer Ant (Anthony Davis) have built a legacy embedded in the fabric of underground hip-hop.
Their debut album, Overcast!, was released in 1997 and set the trajectory for a career that is still evolving.
Atmosphere have released more than two dozen studio albums and EPs and have collaborated on numerous side projects during their run.
The Clyde show is all-ages and will include special guests Sage Francis and Mr. Dibbs.
In addition to that announcement, The Clyde also let it be known they will be welcoming back everyone’s favorite Sublime tribute Badfish on Saturday, Feb. 8.
No matter how many times you have seen these guys, it’s always an energetic show with plenty of feel-good music for the soul. It’s typically a full house at The Clyde as well.
Their Gimme the Gold Tour will see the boys spreading good vibes throughout the country with Sublime staples as well as two original tracks they released this year: “F You Pay Me” and “High With You.”
Tickets for Atmosphere and Badfish can be purchased at clydetheatre.com, etix.com, over the phone at (800) 514-3849, or in person at The Clyde box office and Sweetwater Sound.
