The demand for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour has far exceeded the supply of seats available, so the megastar has decided to add 15 more shows to the itinerary.

The new dates begin in mid-October 2024 and run through November, with three shows set for Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Nov. 1-3.

The singer’s 2023 tour is expected to rake in more than $1 billion by the time it wraps next year.

The tour has transformed the American concert business with its sheer scale and unprecedented fan demand.

So far, it has featured three-hour shows with multiple outfit changes, backup dancers, and a full band that help to showcase Swift’s 17-year, 10-album career.

Pop singer Gracie Abrams, who released her debut album in February and just happens to be the daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams, will open the shows.

Good luck to you if you are trying to get a couple of those tickets.

Skinny Puppy fattens tour

On a smaller scale, legendary industrial act Skinny Puppy have extended their tour as well.

Calling it their “final tour,” the concerts this fall continue to celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary.

The new run of shows includes two nights in Chicago at the House of Blues, Nov. 14-15.

Formed in Vancouver in 1982, Skinny Puppy have been hailed as a cornerstone act in the industrial and electro-industrial genres. The group’s 12th, and most recent, album, Weapon, was released in 2013.

The tour extends a collaboration that has reaped the single “Idol,” which has more that 24 million streams on Spotify.

King Iso will open the shows that include a stop at Radius in Chicago on Oct. 18 followed by GLC Live at 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids on Nov. 4, Royal Oak Music Center near Detroit on Nov. 5, Agora Theatre in Cleveland on Nov. 6, and Kemba Live! in Columbus, Ohio, on Nov. 18.

Free Girl Named Tom show

A Girl Named Tom will stop by the Fountain City Amphitheatre in Bryan, Ohio, for a free show on Aug. 19.

The sibling trio from the small town of Pettisville, Ohio, won Season 21 of The Voice and have been touring ever since, releasing an album, One More Christmas, late last year.

The tour features some new cover songs along with a few originals that the band hopes to record soon.

This should be a big night for the city of Bryan as area fans have been known to travel in large packs to see them perform.
