On Saturday, April 20, Embassy Theatre will host a shredding extravaganza when guitar masters Joe Satriani and Steve Vai come to town on their U.S. co-headlining Satch-Vai Tour.

These virtuosos have made their mark in the music world with their iconic songs like Satriani’s chart-toppers “Surfing with the Alien” and “Summer Song,” and Vai’s classics “For the Love of God” and “Tender Surrender.”

Although the two have performed together as part of the G3 project with Eric Johnson, this will be the first time they will tour as a duo bill.

In fact, the co-headlining tour begins just a little over a month after the G3 Reunion Tour wraps up in February.

Satriani and Vai have crossed paths many times throughout their careers spanning back to Satriani being Vai’s guitar teacher during their teenage years on Long Island, New York.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com and at the Embassy box office.
