The Allen County Public Library has announced the return of Rock the Plaza, featuring 13 free concerts and a total of 51 local bands.
Taking place at the downtown library’s plaza from 6-10 p.m. every Saturday from June 4-Aug. 27, things get started with U.R.B., Gregg Bender Band, Basketcase, and Zen BBQ
Each night will feature four acts, outside of June 25 when Grateful Groove, Phil Schurger, and Pink Droyd will perform.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring food, chairs or blankets, but pets are discouraged. And if you don’t bring food, Pint & Slice will be on hand serving up pizza and drinks.
If you’re unable to attend a show, it will be aired on ACPL’s Access Fort Wayne on Comcast channel 55 and Verizon channel 25. Concerts will also be livestreamed on the library’s YouTube channel and replayed on its radio station WELT 95.7 FM.
