An iconic Fort Wayne gathering place is set to move. Redwood Inn, 1432 W. Main St., posted on social media last week, “This marks our final summer at our Main Street venue. We will soon unveil a new location.”
Owners Barry Levy and Melissa Earls have promised to release more details, including their new venue.
There was a fear Redwood Inn would be closing a year ago when new owners purchased the property.
As one last celebration, they will host a farewell party Friday, Sept. 13, with local women of rock tribute band Whoa, Man! performing.
The Redwood and their signature sausage rolls have been a fixture the Nebraska Neighborhood about 50 years.
