The ageless wonders Red Hot Chili Peppers announced they will be extending their Unlimited Love Tour, with Ruoff Music Center in on the docket.

Anthony Keidis, Flea, John Frusciante, and Chad Smith will remain on the road after being the first rock band in 17 years to have two albums go No. 1 in the same year, with 2022’s Unlimited Love and this year’s Return of the Dream Canteen each reaching the top in 2023.

With Otoboke Beaver and Irontom opening the show, the Chili Peppers will grace the Ruoff Music Center stage in Noblesville on Thursday, July 25, with tickets going on sale Friday, Dec. 10. 

If you can’t make it to that show, they will also be at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on July 5 and Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on July 22.

Maniscalco goes home

Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco will launch his biggest tour to date following a Las Vegas residency this year. 

The highest-grossing comedian in 2022 will look to add to his coffers when he brings the laughs to his hometown of Chicago when he performs at United Center on Nov. 8-9 and Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio, on Nov. 10. 

Godsmack get intimate

Godsmack are the kind of band that you expect to see totally plugged in and amped up, but their newly announced tour will include smaller venues. 

Godsmack are “set to deliver a series of intimate evenings featuring acoustic/electric performances and untold stories in theatres across North America.” 

Touring in support of their eighth studio album, Lighting Up the Sky, which they have said will be their last, Godsmack will be Hard Rock Casino in Gary on April 20.

Avenged living the dream

Avenged Sevenfold are continuing their Life Is But a Dream Tour with a stop at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on March 9, Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on March 11, Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on March 13, Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on March 19, and Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on March 26. 

Poppy and Sullivan King will open the shows.

Drake, J. Cole partner up

Drake is continuing with his It’s All a Blur Tour, with J. Cole continuing as support. 

There will rescheduled dates at The Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 20-21 followed by Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on Feb. 24-25. 

Hall of Famers join forces

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire have announced they will join forces once again for the return of their co-headlining tour, Heart & Soul. 

The trek stops in 30 cities, with a show at Allstate Arena in Chicago on July 12 followed by Blossom Music Center outside Cleveland on July 16, Pine Knob Music Center outside Detroit on July 17, Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on July 19, and Ruoff Music Center outside Indianapolis on July 20. 

Chicago was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018 and is considered as one of the most successful rock bands ever in terms of both sales and longevity. 

During their 46-year career, Chicago have issued 36 albums and sold more than 100 million records on the strength of 17 of their first 20 albums selling at least a million copies.

Earth, Wind & Fire scored six consecutive platinum albums.
