The community is invited to Purdue University Fort Wayne Music Center on Thursday, Aug. 15, to celebrate the Voices of Unity Youth Choir and their recent journey to gold in the Gospel Music Category at the prestigious World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand. 

The evening will feature live performances, special recognitions, a chance to connect with other supporters of the arts, and light refreshments. 

The World Choir Games, considered The Olympics of The Choral World, brought more than 11,000 singers from more than 30 countries together, and the Fort Wayne organization represented the city well, displaying their essential core values of relentless effort, dedication, unwavering focus, and a commitment to excellence. 

Admission to the celebration is free.
