Garrett Art Museum’s first show of 2025 will be on display Friday, Jan. 10, through Saturday, March 1, with the opening reception from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 10.
Vivian Maier: The Color Work features 19 exclusive Maier color photographs from John Maloof’s collection, on loan from the Howard Greenberg Gallery in New York City.
The unedited street photography gives the viewer a glimpse into her insights and incredible sense of timing through portraits, streetscapes, and photos of various inhabitants of Chicago and New York during the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s.
