Veterans Day is an opportunity to honor all who have served in our military, keeping the United States safe and secure. 

To honor the day and those veterans, the Allen County Council of Veterans Organizations are hosting their annual Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 9. 

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the Northside Park tennis courts at Bob Arnold Drive and proceed north on Parnell Avenue to Memorial Coliseum for placement of wreaths, playing of “Taps,” and remembering fallen brothers and sisters-in-arms. 

The event is free and open to the public.
