While a lot of people dread the long and hot Dog Days of Summer, the fourth annual Dog Days of Autumn Festival is something absolutely everyone in the family can enjoy.
Presented by Content Creators of Color, The Dog Days of Autumn Festival aims to celebrate “Man’s Best Friend,” the uplifting bonds they can form with their humans, and their positive contributions toward the mental health of many in our community.
Meet, greet, and receive treats from local vendors, play games, enjoy food trucks and bounce houses, venture through a fall-themed maze, and take an opportunity to snag a treat or two for animals and humans alike at this free event taking place at Lutheran Park and Gardens, 3204 Fairfield Ave., on Sunday, Oct. 1, from noon–3pm.
A portion of the proceeds from purchased items will go toward benefiting Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control.
