While no one likes to make a mistake, William Shakespeare taught us that sometimes it’s OK to laugh at them.

The Comedy of Errors, one of Shakespeare’s earliest plays, is so iconic that it has become synonymous for “a ridiculous series of events.”

In the play, performed at Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw from July 28-Aug. 6, two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth arrive in a town that just so happens to be the home of their twin brothers. When the first set of twins encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful arrests, accusations, infidelity, theft, and even demonic possession.

One of his most farcical comedies, Shakespeare uses slapstick, puns and word play to create a masterpiece production.
