Splashes of Color: A Celebration of Jazz, presented by Heartland Sings, will take place at the Auer Performance Hall on the campus of Purdue University Fort Wayne on Saturday, June 24, beginning at 5 p.m.
The vocal artists of Heartland Sings and the Heartland Sings Jazz Orchestra will team up to present this ever-changing and expanding genre through a variety of songs, culminating in the Midwest premiere of a dynamic jazz setting of the Latin Mass “Mass in Blue” by composer Will Todd.
Heartland Sings is a nonprofit with a mission of inspiring people of all ages and fostering an appreciation for the vocal arts, inspiring audiences and artists through exceptional cultural and entertainment experiences, educational programs, and community outreach.
