Ripcord, from Pulitzer Prize winning writer David Kindsay-Abaire, is the newest crowd-pleasing presentation of The Arena Dinner Theatre in Fort Wayne.
Directed by Jordan Plohr, the production will be presented over the course of three weekends from Aug. 4-19.
This comic tale centers on a duel of wits between “odd couple” roommates in an assisted living facility. As they embark upon increasingly emotionally and physically dangerous tricks in attempts to break each other, secrets are revealed, lives are jeopardized, and peach cobbler is enjoyed as part of Dessert Theatre.
Ripcord is an often slapstick, always surprising comedy and an enemies-to-friends story that makes for a great night of entertainment.
