Awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1996, Rent tells the story of a diverse group of impoverished artist friends as they face the many challenges of New York City’s East Village in the ’80s.

Also a winner of multiple Tony Awards, Jonathan Larson’s famed musical will be presented by the nonprofit Indiana Musical Theatre Foundation at the intimate Arena Theatre in Fort Wayne, Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 14-16 and Sept. 21-23.

Indiana Musical Theatre Foundation casts actors from northeast Indiana, highlighting more of the immense amount of talent in our area.

It is important to note that thought this production will be held at the Arena Theatre, there will be no dinner served as there would be during most Arena shows.
